Him: Okay, I'm going to work.
Me: (manage to get one eye open) Huh?? What time is it??
Him: It's 10 til 8. I'm going to work early.
Me: Wha? So early...okay....bye....have a good night.

I'm also an American ex-pat living in Dublin, and I recently visited the States and lost 12 pounds without even trying. Something about this country makes me gain weight! I blame the potatoes.
