Eeeeeeew mold! That's so gross and dangerous! Quick! Live in a plastic bubble!!
ReplyDeleteI know! It is SO gross!
ReplyDeleteI think you deserve a massage after all that cleaning!
ReplyDeleteAck! Mold is so nasty, to breathe, to look at, to clean, etc, etc. We have a dehumidifier now because I'm terrified of having a problem where we live.
ReplyDeleteGood luck cleaning!
We have a dehumidifier in the bedroom. It keeps most of it at bay, but it's still not perfect. The rest of the flat is the problem now!
ReplyDeleteIn our last apartment we would find the walls near the windows covered in mold. It made me just want to hack. I hope it stays away from you!
ReplyDeleteWe have a dehumidifier in the bedroom but I want to get one for downstairs also now! I **HATE** mold! Does tea tree oil work? I have just used cleaning solution with bleach in it thinking it would be the best... lol
ReplyDeleteI use tea tree oil because when I first spotted the mold in our apartment, there was some on the carpet. I didn't want to spray bleach onto the carpet. Also, there is some above my head and I didn't want bleach spray falling back on my face. Tea tree oil is a natural way to clean mold. I mix 2 tsp of oil with 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. I spray the mold then wipe it off with a wet cloth.
ReplyDeleteEuw that's nasty stuff! The TT oil is a good trick though; I learned that in another house here but it would be even better if it just stopped raining and the house dried up! Good luck!
